Our Cabernet is 100% Estate grown on our terraced hillside vineyards. Our two major soil types are well-drained "tufa" volcanic ash and Aiken. It's a relatively cool location. It faces southwest for the most part and is usually above the fog, so it gets great exposure. Our Cabernet clones are #15 and #337, from France, which produce wines of great depth and complexity. |

soul of a great wine begins in the vineyard. Carlos Martinez has been
working with Richard in the vineyard for more than 10 years and has
brought his four brothers, and other relatives to work with him. Together
they know how to get the highest quality fruit from the vineyard.
